Xinghai Square, located in Southern Coastal Scenic Area of Dalian, was originally an abandoned landfill in Xinghai Bay, the city government uses construction wastes to fill 114 hectares of sea and develop 62 hectares of land, and it has now become one of Dalian's symbols.
