Umm Qasr is a port city in Iran across a narrow waterway from Kuwait. Umm Qasr Port, also called Umm Qasr Port, is located at the Iraqi border in the South of Iraq's Basra. The port has 2 container berths and 13 berths under construction, the transportation capability of the port is up to 8 million tons, and it is Iraq's largest commercial port as well as the only deep-water port.
