Baiyin City is an ancient and magical land with a long history, splendid culture and rich and varied natural landscape. Although Huining County is only a small county at the Southern tip of Baiyin City, it has been a major transportation route and military site since ancient times. In October 1936, the three main forces of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army joined forces triumphantly in Huining, and Huining hence became famous both at home and abroad.
