Avignon, France

Avignon is the southeastern city of France, the capital of Vaucluse province, located in Rhone River. It is 4 km south of the confluence of the Durand and Rhone rivers, as the 14th-century Pope''s residence. The city has palaces, churches, etc., as well as Avignon Bridge built in the twelfth century, and tourism here is quite developed.
