Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, Pendik, Turkey

Sabiha Gokcen Airport is a civilian airport, 35 kilometers southeast of Istanbul, which is one of the two major international airports in Istanbul. The Turkish government built the airport because Ataturk International Airport in the European part is not big enough. As a secondary airport to Ataturk Airport, it is designed as a single-runway airport.
