Aksu Region, Xinjiang

Akesu is located in the central Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, in the southern of middle of the Tianshan Mountains, the northern edge of the Tarim Basin. Tianshan Mountains is one of the world''s seven major mountain ranges, located in the hinterland of Eurasia, across the four countries of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Tianshan was east-west direction, a total length of about 2500 km, of which 1700 km stretching in China.
