Beijing Aeronautics and Astronautics University (hereinafter referred to as Beihang University) was established on October 25, 1952, which is the first aerospace institution of higher learning in New China. Now it belongs to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The school is divided into College Road Campus and Shahe Campus, covering 3,000 acres and a total construction area of more than 170 million square meters.
