Malatya, Turkey

Malatya is a province in central Turkey and is home to Turkey''s largest producer of apricots. An international festival of apricot is held here every year to let everyone know more about this special product of Turkey while sharing the fruits of the harvest.

Malatya possesses fertile land and irrigation industry, locating at the railway junction. From satellite imagery, the city of Malatya is similarly accessible and therefore also contributing to the development of the apricot trade in the area.
