The sea area of Jinzhou Bay is wide and oval, 28 kilometers long in the north and south, and about 15 kilometers wide. Jinzhou Bay has a coastline of about 74 kilometers, covering an area of about 7453 square kilometers, is the largest in Dalian area along the coast of Bohai bay.
