Thessaloniki is the largest port city and the second largest city in northern Greece, it is also the second largest economic and cultural center in Greece and the main transportation hub in Southeast Europe. In Thessaloniki there are numerous routes to the outside world. Trains can reach Sofia, Moscow, Vienna, Istanbul, Athens and all parts of Greece.
