Located at Amu Darya bank,Turkmenabad is the second largest city in Turkmenistan. Originally being the fortress of Buhalemir Kingdom, it’s built to prevent foreign enemies from invading from the opposite bank ofAmuDarya. Amoureux, which was a fortress in ancient tribe, has become a landmark building of Turkmenabad.
