Agadir is the port city of southwest Morocco and the capital of agadir province. The beautiful scenery and mild climate make it one of the few natural harbours in Morocco. Agadir is considered by many moroccans to be the most beautiful city in the country and the first resort in Morocco.

Agadir izani airport was a civil airport in agadir until it was replaced in 1991 by almasilla airport, 20 kilometres south-west of the city.
