Huangshan fort site, located in ganjingzi district, dalian, is a famous historical site. It used to be an ancient battlefield filled with Wolf smoke, blood and Chinese courage and humiliation.

After the opium war, as the gateway to Beijing, the defense of liaodong peninsula was gradually valued by the qing government. Li hongzhang ordered six forts to be built on six hills along the coast of dalian bay, including the huangshan forts.Huangshan fort was built between the reign of emperor guangxu (1888) and the reign of emperor guangxu (1893).
