Kaohsiung city is a "municipality directly under the central government" of Taiwan province in China. Located in the southwest of Taiwan island, kaohsiung city is a gateway to the south of Taiwan strait. Kaohsiung city has jurisdiction from the northeast to the central mountains and the main peaks of yushan, to the nansha taiping island, zhongzhou island and dongsha islands in the southwest to the south China sea.
Located in songsong district, kaohsiung city, Taiwan province, it is the largest lake in kaohsiung, formerly known as the great callisto lake or the great white lotus lake.
