Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, is located in the southern tip of the territory of Mozambique, near the Indian Ocean Maputo Bay, is the political and economic center of Mozambique. Maputo has larger refineries and flour mills, as well as sawmills, sugar, cotton, cement, tobacco processing and other industries. Maputo is one of the main ports in East Africa.

 The Zimperto Stadium covers an area of nearly 270,000 square meters and has a total of 42,000 seats. It is the largest and most modern comprehensive sports infrastructure built by Mozambique over 30 years of independence.
