 Columbo's monument is 60 meters high. It is said to commemorate Columbo's first triumph in America in 1492. The towering cylindrical monument, built entirely of ochre-red marble, stands 60 meters high and has the characters "Glory Belongs to Columbus" and "Salute to Columbus".
