Kobe, a city located in Hyogo Prefecture, Kinki, western Japan, is the seat of the County Hall of Hyogo Prefecture. Located in the southwestern part of Honshu Island, the largest of the four largest islands in Japan. Kobe is an important international trade port city in Japan.

Kobe is situated on the West Bank of Luwakawa Estuary in Hyogo Prefecture, southern Honshu, Japan. It is the largest container port in Japan and one of the ten largest container ports in the world. Kobe has been an important transportation hub in Japan since ancient times, and roads, railways and aviation are all modernized. It is not only the main international trade center, but also one of Japan's largest industrial centers.
