In the spirit of exploring the unknown, the friends of Chang Guang Satellite germinated the idea of using "Jilin-1" to earth observation satellites for astronomical target observation. Hence, the first time of "Jilin-1", changes the "little Hubble", obtaining the following beautiful moon photographs.

For the first time on the computer screen to see such a clear, complete, huge crescent, we were stunned, as if to touch the desolate, quiet and mysterious world.

We take a variety of wonderful pictures of Moon under different light angles.

In our team, the astronomers are enthusiastic about tagging for you. There are not only craters, but also bays and seas on the moon.

The "Chang ''''''''''''''''e" and "Jade Rabbit" that we usually see with the naked eye on the surface of the moon are actually quite flat plains on the lunar surface because of their low brightness, thus forming a shadow. These plains are divided into a piece of "sea".

Similarly, there are rivers that sink into the sea, and on the surface of the moon, there are lines similar to rivers, called moon streams, which are essentially larger valleys. More famous is the alpine gorge, located in the Alps, sandwiched between the three great craters of Plato, Aristotle and Archimedes. In addition, the moon creek, which is located near the moon''''''''''''''''s South Pole, is shallow in depth, but is clearly visible in our imaging, enough to test the accuracy of our monthly shooting.

In the southern part of the moon, there is a very, very visible giant crater, the famous "Tycho" mountain. Near the terminator, Tycho mountain looks like a quiet hill, but under the condition of strong light, radiate Tycho mountain line, make it like a huge bomb, also can let people one hundred million years ago that a huge moon meteorite impact and shock.

As the moon formed in the early stage, a large number of meteorites hit the moon, forming a dense ring mountain, there is no overlap of the mountain scenery. Right in the middle of the moon, there are three ringed mountains that are so closely linked.

Plato''''''''''''''''s crater is located in the rain sea off the northwest of the moon, and there is a great bay in the rain sea, called rainbow bay, especially romantic. And this rainbow bay is also China''''''''''''''''s Chang ''''''''''''''''e-3 landing site. Coincidentally, it was the landing ofApollo 15, the fourth manned mission to the moon, across the rainbow bay. We can say, rain sea, is our mankind old acquaintance, old companion.

Another famous scenic spot on the moon is the Copernican crater, a crater that commemorates Nikolai Copernicus, the great astronomer who proposedThe Heliocentric Theory. The crater on the left of the Copernican crater is a crater named after his heliocentric Kepler. And interestingly, in the northwest of the Copernican crater, near the edge of the moon, there is a small, erect crater in the surrounding darkness,Aristarchus. The crater was named after the ancient Greek astronomerAristarchus.

You, the lover of astronomy and exploration, do you have fun?

In the end, a GIF picture is presented, and the"Jilin-1" lunar tour is a perfect ending.
