The results of the Hunchun survey of forest resources show for everyone in the previous article, compared to Hunchun, Liaoyuan city land cover distribution space is affected by human activities, the distribution of forest resources is of great research value.

Taking Jilin city of Liaoyuan Province as an example, this paper demonstrates the application of remote sensing technology in the extraction of forest resources spatial distribution information.

Processing of remote sensing data, after radiometric calibration, atmospheric correction, geometric correction, data fusion, cutting stitching pretreatment, through the analysis of remote sensing data of the spectral information, texture information and phenological characteristics of the vegetation information extraction of forest spatial distribution characteristics, the thematic map.

Thematic map of spatial distribution of forest resources in Liaoyuan city of Jilin Province

It can be seen from the figure, Liaoyuan City, the forest coverage rate is about 1/3; affected by human activities, farmland and forest interlaced distribution, and non-forest tree showing approximate distribution; large non forest areas are distributed in the waters near the region for human habitation and farming, and were used as arable land, industrial land and residential areas; most of the rest of the larger height and the slope is big, not suitable for development into farmland, residential land, so keep a high degree of forest resources.

Monitoring the change of forest resources by means of remote sensing can help people to see the present situation of resource development more intuitively and attract people''''''''s attention to the protection of forest resources.
