【Remote Sensing Application】The distribution of the main crop space in Shihezi

This paper, taking the agricultural planting structure monitoring products of Shihezi general field in Xinjiang province, as an example, focuses on the information extraction of remote sensing technology, and introduces the application of remote sensing in agricultural crop space distribution information.


This example based on the combination of high resolution remote sensing image, according to the spectral characteristics of rich plant and the heterogeneity of spatial information and crop phenological characteristics of main crop spatial distribution information is extracted, eventually form the following thematic map products.

It can be seen that the main characteristics of crop distribution in the region are: cotton planting is the largest, followed by woodland, grape, wheats. The distribution of crops conforms to local climate conditions. And woodlands are scattered across the region, mainly in the vicinity of the water.
