Taking the adaptability evaluation of Amur tiger in Hunchun city of Jilin Province as an example, this paper introduces the application of remote sensing technology in ecological environment monitoring. The use of remote sensing data, DEM data and other basic geographic information data, fully consider the characteristics of the living habits of the Northeast tigers, habitat suitability evaluation method of analytic hierarchy process in Northeast Butch habitat and GIS comprehensive evaluation based on combination, provides data support for the protection of wild Siberian tiger in Hunchun city.

Spatial distribution map of habitat adaptability of Amur tiger in Hunchun

It can be seen from the map that the vast area of the northern part of Hunchun is the most suitable place for the survival of the Amur tiger, while the middle and southern of Hunchun are not suitable for the survival of the Amur tiger. It is concluded that human disturbance and geographical environment are important factors affecting the survival of Amur tigers. Because the central part of Hunchun is the city''s location, human activities are intensive, so it greatly reduces the living space of the Siberian tiger. The long and narrow belt from the southwest to the northeast is the Hunchun River. The population density is large and the human activities are very much, which also affects the survival of the Amur tiger. In addition, vegetation and topography are also important factors affecting the survival of the Amur tiger, and the forested areas with abundant vegetation and water resources are most suitable for the survival of the Amur tiger.
